About ENAT

Herb Houston and Debbie Gebeyehu decided to carry on a special wine-making tradition because Debbie's mother "Enat," for many years made honey wine for family and friends.  Her honey wine was served during special occasions or given away as gifts and was enjoyed by everyone.  She used a recipe that was passed on by her forebears.  Today, Herb and Debbie are owners of the winery, one of the nations largest producers of Ethiopian style honey wine at their 2,500 square foot warehouse and production facility in Oakland.

Ethiopian Style Honey Wines

"TEJ" is a unique drink of Ethiopian tradition.  Produced from honey and a unique form of hops called "Gesho."  It is a natural wine with no sulfites and no preservatives.  Enjoy its fresh honey taste.
